Our final highlighted client of the year certainly deserves to be recognized for his hard work and outstanding attitude! A two year veteran of the Clayton morning program, Mark's personality stands tall and serve's as an example for his fellow trainees. As we enter the colder temperatures of late fall, I can always count on the steam and sweat coming off Mark as well as his eagerness to train and enjoy the process. He is usually the first to arrive, last to leave and is rarely seen without a smile and/or a laugh. In Mark's words:

"I have not had much success with exercise since, well, probably college. I'm the kind of person that was able to find more reasons not to schedule time to work out, rather than to just doing it. Everything I tried failed, because the mental aspect was not addressed. Until Shark Fitness. The blend of physical and mental is perfect for me. Sure, it took about 3 months, but after that, you become addicted to the format, the regimen, the people. And now, if Boot Camp is not part of my day, something is missing. SFT has the perfect blend. Of course there is the physical, that goes without saying. It's the rest of the mix that sets it apart from every other program. Exercise is mental. Getting through the daily program, pushing yourself further, exercising through injury, focusing on the task as well as ensuring that you don't schedule yourself out of your ability to work out. In this program, the mind is exercised as well as the body. I can't explain how it happens, but I think it's the blend of information, explanation, coaching, wit, banter and yes, mental discipline. It's all a part of the perfect mix."
