CLIENT OF THE QUARTER
Dale and Tina Bauer, First Quarter of 2010
For only the second time in SFT history, we’ve picked a couple to share the spotlight as a Client of the Quarter. Although both could easily be featured solo, together they make quite a team. Balancing a busy travel schedule and extremely active lifestyle isn’t easy but Dale and Tina do so remarkably. Regardless of what location and time they attend…together and separately, they raise the bar in terms of a phenomenal attitude and work ethic. They are very popular among our clients with their cheerful demeanor and extreme likeability. Most important though, they simply go about their business during class and clearly practice the strongest form of leadership…by example. In a program filled with people who could be one of our Clients of the Quarter, the Dale and Tina Bauer certainly stand out. In their words:
DALE: I first became involved with Shark Fitness Training after a friend invited Tina and me to attend the Saturday morning boot camp at White Cliff Park. After the initial warm-up, I was seriously questioning whether this program was too much for me to handle. I quickly learned how out of shape I had become. I struggled through most of the class, but I did my best to “deal with it” and made it to the end. After class, I signed up for more and I was on my way to a much healthier lifestyle. Now, I am into my third year and feeling better than ever!
I continue to workout with SFT because I have seen lasting results. I am 20+ lbs. lighter than when I began and all it took was a good attitude, the willingness to work hard every class and eating right. I like being part of a group fitness class with so many other people who share the same attitude. Yet, Keath and his outstanding trainers are so thorough that it feels like you have your own personal trainer. Being able to train outside just intensifies the workout. There is always a way to make something harder. Climbing backwards up a hill when its cold, wet and muddy is awesome! I have also learned that if you train with a purpose, you need to eat with a purpose. The nutritional advice that is available from SFT has been invaluable. And last, but certainly not least, the fact that Keath and his staff care about your fitness and well being makes SFT the best training option, anywhere!
I work for a small civil engineering firm in Belleville running a computer aided drafting and design station. I am also a certified spinning instructor and I teach two classes a week at Powerhouse Gym. Tina and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary this June. We have two dogs, Van and Thor. In my spare time I enjoy cycling and volunteering for the Delta Gamma Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children.
